Who Will Win WNBA All-Star Game MVP in 2026?
Caitlin Clark is favored to win the WNBA All-Star Game MVP award ahead of Saturday’s event. Her +500 price tag suggests an implied probability of 15.38%.
Clark being the favorite in this market makes a lot of sense. For one, Clark is on Team Spoon, which is a 4.5-point favorite over Team Coop. Check out why I like the total for my WNBA All-Star Game prediction.
She’s also one of the more dynamic offensive guards in the league, averaging 21 points and 7.9 assists per contest. Clark scored 45 points in 29 minutes against the Seattle Storm just a week ago.
After missing last year’s All-Star Game due to injury, Clark will be motivated to put on a show. And I’m not as worried about her playing time after recently returning from injury. Her minutes have ticked up into the high-20s these past few games, and players don’t really log much more than 20 minutes in this event anyway.
Although Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier won All-Star MVP last year, this award has typically been won by offensive guards. Arike Ogunbowale won the award in 2021 and 2024, with Kelsey Plum (2022) and Jewell Loyd (2023) taking home the same trophy in between.
Basically, all signs point to Clark being a deserving favorite. I wouldn’t blame anyone for wanting to back her in this market. However, I prefer to target players further down the board.
For Team Spoon, Allisha Gray is my favorite candidate at a +1200 value. As a starter in last year’s game, Gray launched 12 shots (all 3-pointers) and made five of them in 16 minutes. If she gets into a rhythm, I could see her leading all scorers.
As for the other side, second-year guard Sonia Citron is an intriguing long shot at +3000. She went 4-for-11, including 3-of-8 from distance, in 20 minutes as a debutant last year. Watch out if Citron is more comfortable in her role this time around.
