One lane has reopened to alternating traffic on the Trans Canada between Badger and South Brook.
First responders remain at the scene following an accident early this morning.

Both lanes of the Trans Canada between Badger and South Brook are closed due to an accident.
RCMP issued the advisory around 3:15 this morning.
Delays are to be expected in the area as emergency crews carry out their work.
UPDATE (July 28, 5:45 a.m.): Both lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway remain closed east of Gull Pond (between Badger and South Brook), as a result of an earlier motor vehicle collision.
