NANAIMO — A newly launched bidding process aims to formulate a concept plan for a pair of key capital projects at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.

Island Health formally initiated a request for proposals process on Thursday, July 23 to establish a concept plan for a new inpatient tower and cardiac catherization lab at NRGH.

Bids are accepted until Aug. 13 for a qualified consultant.

“The successful Proponent will enter into a single contract with Island Health and will be responsible for assembling, managing, coordinating, and integrating all subconsultants and specialist disciplines required to complete the Services,” states Island Health’s bids and tenders homepage.
