Suburban Propane will strengthen its presence in NASCAR this fall as the company joins forces with AJ Allmendinger and Kaulig Racing for the NASCAR Cup Series night race at Bristol Motor Speedway on Sept. 19.

The partnership will place Suburban Propane as the primary sponsor of Allmendinger’s No. 16 Chevrolet for one of the sport’s most anticipated events, the annual Bristol Night Race. The agreement aligns two brands with strong ties to NASCAR, as Suburban Propane already serves as an Official Sponsor of NASCAR while continuing to grow its national marketing efforts.

Founded nearly a century ago, Suburban Propane is one of the nation’s largest propane distributors, serving residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers while expanding its focus on renewable energy solutions. The company sees NASCAR as a platform to connect with consumers whose lifestyles closely align with propane-powered activities including outdoor cooking, camping and recreation.

“This represents the perfect platform to connect with consumers who share our passion for outdoor living, family, and community,” said Nandini Sankara, vice president of marketing and brand strategy for Suburban Propane.

The partnership also reunites the energy provider with one of NASCAR’s most versatile drivers. Allmendinger has enjoyed considerable success at Bristol Motor Speedway, including a NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series victory and multiple top-10 finishes across NASCAR’s national touring series.

Known for his appreciation of the iconic short track, Allmendinger considers the Bristol Night Race one of the premier events on the NASCAR calendar.

“If you haven’t been to a NASCAR race, I would say this one is the most special,” Allmendinger said.
