Thunderstorms will roll in Wednesday afternoon and evening, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Around 15 millimetres of rain is expected in Montreal throughout the day, with morning wind gusts of up to 40 km/h. The high will be 22 C with a humidex of 29 and UV index of 3, or moderate.
Expect a low of 18 C overnight, then a mainly cloudy Thursday with — hold on while we check our notes — the risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon.
Regions north of Montreal were under rainfall warnings Wednesday. Up to 80 millimetres of rain is expected to fall in some areas by Thursday morning.
If all goes according to plan, the sun will return by Friday.
