Police in Surrey are investigating an early-morning shooting that left one person injured.
Shortly before 4am on July 28th, police responded to reports of a shooting in the area of 106 Avenue and 135A Street in Surrey. Responding officers located one female with minor injuries and “evidence of shots fired”.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

“The investigation is in its early stages. However, it is believed to be targeted and not extortion related,” said the Surrey Police Service.
