PureGym Brighton Central reopened on July 24 following a major upgrade that includes new equipment and improved facilities.
The refreshed gym now features more cable stations, a new Shape Zone for beginners, upgraded changing rooms and a new functional training zone.
A spokesperson for PureGym said: “This refurbishment marks a real milestone for PureGym Brighton Central, providing members with access to upgraded equipment to support their training and boost their mental and physical health.
“We are committed to providing our members with access to high-quality fitness and we’re excited to have made this investment, which reflects our commitment to making fitness accessible to everyone.
“We look forward to welcoming both returning and new members to enjoy the upgraded gym.”

The Shape Zone, designed for those new to strength training, includes lighter barbells and glute-focused machines.
The functional training zone is equipped with a sled track, cardio equipment and a range of accessories.
A new lifting rig has also been added to the free weights area.

To celebrate the reopening, PureGym is offering non-members the chance to try out the improved facilities with a free trial between July 24 and July 30.
New members who sign up between July 24 and August 6 can also benefit from 50 per cent off their first month and no joining fee.
The upgrades are part of PureGym’s continued investment in communities and its goal of making fitness facilities accessible to more people.
