Caitlin Clark is now close to a suspension after the WNBA rejected the Indiana Fever’s latest appeal.

Clark was given a technical foul for an argument with Saniya Rivers in the Fever’s 123-88 win over the Connecticut Sun.

The Fever appealed the foul to the WNBA, but according to USA Today, the league officials have not changed their minds.

Clark will now have to walk the same tightrope as arch-rival Angel Reese for the remainder of the 2026 regular season.

How Caitlin Clark now shares Angel Reese’s disciplinary situation

Caitlin Clark is now tied with Angel Reese for the most technical fouls this season (seven), putting them at risk of suspension.

WNBA players are automatically suspended for one game without pay if they receive eight technical fouls in a season.
