There are three games in the W tonight, tipping off at 7:30 PM EST between the Wings and the Mystics. The Storm will visit the Dream at the same time, while the Fire will host the Fever at 10 PM.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.

Kelsey Mitchell More than 23.5 points

Kelsey Mitchell’s line is sitting near her career-high season average of 23.3 PPG, but her recent production gives us reason to expect a bit more tonight. Mitchell has averaged an impressive 27.2 points over her last 10 games and enters Friday with 12 straight performances of at least 20, including nine in which she topped 25. She has paired that volume with career-best efficiency, shooting 49.8% from the field and 42.5% from three as the leading scorer for a Fever offense averaging a league-high 95.8 points. Caitlin Clarke’s return has arguably helped Mitchell produce at an even more efficient level, since Clarke is an adept off-ball threat and also commands defensive attention. Mitchell has averaged 25.8 PPG in four games without Clarke and 22.9 PPG with Clarke.

Portland has allowed the third-most points per game and has been tagged for 100.0 per contest over its last three, giving Mitchell another favorable scoring environment. She finished below this number in both earlier meetings with the Fire, but those games came before her current scoring surge took off.

Jessica Shepard More than 11.5 rebounds

Shepard leads the WNBA with 12.1 RPG and has been even more productive recently, averaging 13.5 rebounds playing almost 36 MPG over her last 10 appearances. She grabbed 14 against Atlanta on Wednesday for her league-leading 19th double-double, which is another example of how consistently Dallas relies on her to gain possessions by controlling the glass. Washington allows the fourth-fewest opponent rebounds per game, but Shepard’s minutes, positioning, and individual share of Dallas’ boards have allowed her to produce against nearly every type of opponent. She should have another productive night on the glass tonight.

Sonia Citron More than 16.5 points

Sonia Citron has followed her promising rookie campaign with another step forward, averaging a team-high 17.4 PPG while shooting 47.6% from the field. Her three-point percentage has dipped, but that’s to be expected with some increased volume. She has continued to score efficiently by attacking inside the arc and getting to the foul line rather than relying entirely on perimeter shooting.

Citron has averaged 17.1 points over her last 10 games and scored 22 in Washington’s third consecutive victory on Tuesday. Dallas has been much more vulnerable away from home, allowing 90.9 PPG on the road compared with 80.5 at home, and its defense has surrendered 92.7 per game over the last three. Citron remains Washington’s clearest perimeter scoring option, and a clean injury report should preserve the minutes and shot volume she needs to clear 16.5.
