Police are stepping up efforts to nab auto thieves who’ve stolen three 2025 Lincoln Navigators in as many days this week from the driveways of homes in Guelph’s south end.
The latest theft targeting the same-model luxury SUV was reported by a woman just before 6 a.m. on Friday, Guelph Police said in a news release.
The woman told police her black 2025 Navigator had been stolen overnight from the driveway of her home near Woodland Glen Drive and Old Colony Trail.
Police said security video showed two individuals arriving at the home in a black car at 3:30 a.m. on Friday.
Neither that SUV nor one of the other 2025 Lincoln Navigators stolen this week from the same part of the southwestern Ontario city have been recovered by police.
However, one of the stolen luxury vehicles was recovered by police in Mississauga.
Guelph Police auto theft investigators say they’re trying to determine if the three crimes are related.
Shortly after 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning, a resident in the area of Downey Road and Ptarmigan Drive reported to police that his white 2025 Lincoln Navigator had been stolen overnight.
The vehicle’s tracking system subsequently showed an address in Mississauga, where officers later recovered the vehicle, police said.
Investigators didn’t say where, specifically, that SUV was found nor did they say if an arrest was made or a suspect or suspects identified.
Around 24 hours later, on Thursday morning, a resident who lives near Goodwin Drive and Dominion Drive in Guelph’s sound end reported that his black 2025 Lincoln Navigator had been stolen from the driveway of his home.
That vehicle has yet to be recovered.
“Lincoln Navigators continue to be popular with local auto thieves,” police said on Friday, pointing to the trio of similar SUV thefts.
Also on Friday morning, according to police in Guelph, a resident who lives near Kortright Road West and Rickson Avenue reported her blue Ford F250 pickup had been stolen overnight. It had a trailer attached with a personal watercraft on it, police added.
Meanwhile, a 2026 Mercedes SUV stolen in May from a business on Woodlawn Road West in Guelph was recovered earlier this week at the Port of Montreal, investigators noted.
The investigation continues.

Police in Guelph, where luxury vehicle thefts remain an issue as in most Greater Toronto Area communities, urge residents to take steps to protect themselves against auto theft.
“This can include parking indoors when possible or in well-lit areas, ensuring vehicle doors and windows are closed and locked, employing anti-theft devices to prevent vehicles from being started or steered and using devices to block signals from electronic keys,” police said.
Investigators also urge people to report to police any suspicious activity around unattended vehicles, especially during overnight hours.
