On Monday, Aug. 3, most non-emergency government offices (federal, provincial, municipal, and regional) will be closed. This includes city and town halls, libraries, and many community centres.
Banks will be closed.
Canada Post will not deliver mail or offer pick-up services.
Most garbage and recycling schedules will shift by one day (except in Toronto and Niagara, where collection remains unchanged).
Some Beer Store and LCBO locations will be open, but hours vary—check ahead.
Despite these closures, many shopping centres, restaurants, and tourist attractions will remain open.
