For the first time in six years, Vancouver police officers marched in the city’s Pride Parade in support of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Organizers barred law enforcement from participating in 2020 following the murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer and years of pressure from Black Lives Matter activists.
