Not much split the season returns of two big reality shows on Sunday.
High profile reality shows returned to screens last night and it was effectively a tie between them. Both will seize it as a success.
With rounding, The Block drew 1.11m viewers for Nine, neck and neck with 1.10m for The Voice on Seven.
Compared to last year, The Block return is down (1.3m) while The Voice is up (984,000).
MasterChef Australia‘s episode, which paused the competiton, was 605,000 then Race Around the World at 459,000 from 7:30pm.
Later a Farmer Wants a Wife Reunion was high at 988,000 outranking 60 Minutes (592,000), Treasure & Dirt (269,000) and Watson (164,000).
Commonwealth Games was 391,000 as a late session, then 339,000 / 337,000 elsewhere.
Seven News was #1 at 1.5m.
Nine News pulled 1.27m with a late edition at 334,000.
ABC News drew 782,000 then Compass (236,000) and Believe Me (150,000).
10 News was 233,000 then 10 News+ (147,000), and FBI (73,000).
On SBS it was SBS World News (221,000 / 136,000), Alexander The Great: Legendary Conqueror (174,000), Las Vegas And The American Dream (120,000), Castle Secrets (63,000).
