Bree Hall has made only limited appearances for the Indiana Fever this season, but the young guard is still finding ways to capture attention away from the court.

A new photo of Hall showing off her defined abs drew a strong reaction on social media over the weekend. The image was shared by Athlete Vanity, which offered a simple request after seeing the Fever guard’s impressive physique.

“We need the abs routine,” the account wrote.

The reaction was understandable. Hall looked to be in outstanding shape as she continues working behind the scenes during her second WNBA season.

Bree Hall’s photo highlights work away from court

Hall’s opportunities with the Fever have been limited in 2026, but the 23-year-old has clearly remained committed to staying ready. The 6-foot-1 guard has appeared in two games this season, averaging 2.5 points and 0.5 rebounds in 5.5 minutes per contest. She has made two of her five field-goal attempts and connected on her only 3-point attempt.

Hall’s best performance came against the Los Angeles Sparks on June 27. She scored five points and grabbed one rebound in 10 minutes during Indiana’s 111-87 victory. The former South Carolina standout is playing under a developmental contract, which allows her to appear in up to 12 regular-season games. That arrangement gives the Fever an opportunity to continue evaluating Hall while she practices and develops alongside one of the WNBA’s deepest rosters.

Her latest photo offered another look at the work required to stay prepared for those opportunities. Hall’s conditioning was impossible to overlook, prompting fans to wonder what kind of workout routine helped produce the results. Professional basketball players spend countless hours developing their strength, mobility and endurance, even when they are not receiving consistent minutes during games.

Hall waits for next opportunity with Fever

Hall was selected by the Fever with the No. 20 overall pick in the second round of the 2025 WNBA Draft after a decorated college career at South Carolina. She helped the Gamecocks win two national championships under Dawn Staley and developed a reputation as a dependable perimeter defender. Hall also shot 38.5 percent from 3-point range during her senior season, giving Indiana an intriguing developmental option on the wing.

Breaking into the Fever rotation has been difficult. Indiana already has an experienced collection of guards and wings that includes Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, Sophie Cunningham, Lexie Hull, Tyasha Harris and rookie Raven Johnson. Hall was ruled out by a coach’s decision for Sunday’s 108-100 loss to the Minnesota Lynx. Her next possible opportunity to play will come Thursday when Indiana hosts the Las Vegas Aces.

Whether Hall receives minutes in that matchup remains uncertain. What is clear from her latest photo is that she has continued putting in the work required to be ready when her opportunity arrives.
