Recent University of Calgary graduate Kiyan Sunderji was the first to cross the Ironman Canada finish line on Sunday, completing the gruelling course in just under eight hours and 30 minutes. Ariane Lalancette of Quebec City won the women’s race, finishing her first-ever Ironman in just nine hours and 10 minutes. The CBC’s Jayden Dill reports.
