One man has been airlifted to hospital after being stabbed in Brampton.
Peel Regional Paramedic Services confirmed to INsauga.com that one adult male was injured in an incident in the area of Queen Street West and McMurchy Avenue on Tuesday.
Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the area for a reported stabbing.
The 40-year-old man was suffering from stab wounds and was rushed by ambulance to Brampton Civic Hospital. The victim was then transported by an ORNG air ambulance to a Toronto hospital.
“At this time, investigators are working to determine how the injuries were sustained,” a Peel police spokesperson told INsauga.com.
Officers remain on scene and the investigation is ongoing, police say.
