Out-of-control fire burns in Belcarra Regional Park near Vancouver

A wildfire in Metro Vancouver’s Belcarra Regional Park was discovered on Wednesday, forcing evacuations in the nearby Anmore, B.C. The fire is burning roughly one kilometre southeast of Sasamat Lake’s White Pine Beach, according to the B.C. Wildfire Service. According to its website, the Village of Anmore had a population of just under 2,500 in 2022. The CBC’s Troy Charles has the details.
