Eala hurdles past Parks to begin bid at Canadian Open

Filipino tennis ace Alex Eala avenged her loss to Alycia Parks. She defeated the American in the National Bank Open in Canada. Score was 6–1, 4–6, 6–2. Eala lost to Parks at the Australian Open last January. In a nod to Eala’s participation, the food section of the venue offered Filipino food, particularly adobo. This is the first time chicken adobo was served in the tournament.
