Police are asking residents to call 911 if they see a missing vulnerable man last seen in Mississauga.
In a release on Thursday evening, Peel Regional Police say Dave, 32, was last seen on foot near Queensway West and Hurontario Street in Mississauga.
Police say Dave is considered “vulnerable” and officers are concerned for his wellbeing.
Dave is described as a 32-year-old male with a medium build, short black hair and a thin beard. He was last seen wearing a green hospital gown and blue pants, police say.
Anyone who sees Dave is asked to contact investigators by calling 911 immediately, police say.
Anonymous tips may also be submitted to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by visiting www.peelcrimestoppers.ca. When you contact Crime Stoppers you stay anonymous, never have to testify, and could receive a $2,000 reward.
Law enforcement agencies across Ontario have changed policies about disclosing descriptions, last names and genders of missing persons.
Peel police have told INsauga.com they are concerned that releasing the last name will make the missing person vulnerable to future online searches.
