The NASCAR Canada Series travels to Trois-Rivières, a 1.53-mile paved road course, for Sunday’s Le 45 Tours CarGurus. The event is unique in that group qualifying will set the front row, while a pair of duel sprints will determine the rest of the lineup. A total of 31 entries are entered for the event at GP3R.

Andrew Ranger enters the weekend as the reigning winner at the historic road course. Last season, driving the No. 27 entry, Ranger led 43 of 63 laps to win the event, with pole-sitter Marc-Antoine Camirand finishing runner-up. Alex Tagliani and Kevin Lacroix also made their mark, leading seven and 12 laps each.

Both Lacroix and Camirand enter GP3R with momentum after splitting the doubleheader event at Edmonton two weeks ago. Lacroix took the victory for the second time in 2026, leading 66 of 150 laps, while Camirand went to victory lane in the second race due to the arrival of severe weather.

The two rivals find themselves at the top of the points standings, with Camirand leading by 54 points over Lacroix. L.P. Dumoulin, 63 points back, sits third, while D.J. Kennington and Connor Bell round out the top five.

The NASCAR Canada Series will get on track for a one-hour practice session from 8:40 to 9:40 a.m. ET on Saturday. Group qualifying will run later in the day from 12:00 to 12:40 p.m. ET.

The group qualifying session will determine the top two starters, while a pair of 15-lap duels will determine the rest of the lineup. In addition, teams will receive bonus points and money for finishing in the top five in the duel races, with first place securing five points and a $5,000 bonus. Both duel races will air live on REV TV and the NASCAR Canada YouTube channel beginning at 4:40 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Le 45 Tours CarGurus airs live on REVTV Canada and the NASCAR Canada Series YouTube channel at 2:10 p.m. ET on Sunday.

QUALIFYING FORMAT:

NASCAR Road Race style (group) qualifying.

STARTING LINEUP PROCEDURES:

Starting Positions 1st through 2nd will be determined from group qualifying.

Starting Positions 3rd through 21st will be determined from the two Sprint Races.

Provisional Starting Positions 22nd through 25th have been established for up to four additional starting positions which will be available to the highest ranking of the Top 30 car owners in the current 2026 NASCAR Canada Series Championship car owner point standings who has not qualified for one of the original 21 starting positions. 

Provisional Starting Position 26th has been established for up to one additional starting position which will be available to any past NASCAR Canada Series Champion driver who participated as a driver in the 2025 NASCAR Canada Series and who did not qualify for one of the original 21 starting positions. If a former NASCAR Canada Series Champion driver is not assigned this position, it will then be assigned to the next eligible driver who did not qualify for one of the original 26 starting positions based on the current 2026 NASCAR Canada Series Championship driver point standings.

Odd and even qualified cars will participate in 2 distinctive 15 lap races. 

RACE PROCEDURE:

Le 45 Tours Car Gurus race will be run straight up with no scheduled pit stops

TIRE ALLOTMENT:

The maximum tire allotment available for this event is as follows: One (1) tire for practice, four (4) tires for qualifying and the race for a total of five (5) tires. If this is your first event on a road course, the maximum tire allotment available is as follows: Four (4) tires for practice, four (4) tires for qualifying and the race for a total of eight (8) tires. A team representative must designate qualifying and race tires to NASCAR Officials at the designated time. All teams will be required to have one (1) set of four (4) mounted wet condition tires in their assigned pit stall.
