Peel Regional Police investigators with the Commercial Auto Crime Bureau have recovered nearly $800,000 worth of stolen commercial vehicles, trailers and computer equipment in Brampton.
According to a news release, officers were investigating a stolen trailer attended the area of Heart Lake Road and Countryside Drive on July 22, 2026, where they recovered four stolen commercial vehicles. These recovered vehicles included one tractor and three trailers which is believed to be valued at about $105,000.
During their examination, investigators also found two shipments of stolen computer equipment, valued at approximately $681,083.68. Police believe the equipment was placed in the stolen trailers after separate thefts on July 17 and July 20.
The total value of the recovered vehicles and cargo is estimated at $786,083.68.
