Lawyers in a New York courtroom have made their final arguments in the trial of a man accused of killing his nine-year-old daughter while on a trip last summer.
Luciano Frattolin is facing charges of second-degree murder and concealment of a human corpse in the death of Melina Frattolin, who lived in Montreal.
Frattolin did not testify in his defence.
The jury is expected to begin deliberating later today after receiving final instructions from the judge.
Melina Frattolin’s body was found last year in a marsh in a rural area of New York, partially covered by a fallen tree with a large rock on her chest.
Frattolin reported his daughter had been kidnapped by two men who drove off in a white van and has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
