We are now moving into the middle of the fourth season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, with another genre swing. We have details and new photos from the fourth episode, where the show goes full noir. There be spoilers ahead.
“A Case of Chiaroscuro”
This week’s episode is titled “A Case of Chiaroscuro.” In art, chiaroscuro describes the use strong contrasts of light and dark, which is befitting for an episode that features a black and white style. TrekMovie’s early review described the episode as “film noir.” It was written by Skylar Ojeda & Dana Horgan and directed by Meera Menon. The fourth episode (of ten) of season four arrives on Thursday, August 13.
Synopsis:
Una is mistaken for a resistance leader and drawn into a struggle against Klingon occupation.
