Police in Guelph have arrested a Brampton man following an investigation into cocaine trafficking.
Earlier this summer, the Guelph Police Drug Enforcement Unit began an investigation into a man believed to be trafficking cocaine. Just after 1 p.m. aug. 10, he was arrested as he exited his vehicle in an east-end Guelph parking lot.
Following his arrest, search warrants were executed on his vehicle and a residence in Brampton.
Officers recovered cocaine valued at approximately $3,300 as well as more than $1,700 in cash, a digital scale and drug packaging.
A 34-year-old Brampton man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He will appear in court in November.
His name has not been revealed by police.
