A Mississauga man is accused of filming women in a Winners change room in Oakville.

Police were called to the Winners at 2460 Winston Churchill Blvd. for a report of a man filming a woman changing inside a fitting room on July 22, Halton Regional Police said today.

The woman confronted the man, but he fled before officers arrived, police said.

Police have charged one person in connection with the incident.

Jeffrey Abou-Mechrek, 34, of Mississauga, was arrested in Oakville and charged with one count of voyeurism.

Abou-Mechrek was released with a future court date in Milton.

Investigators are concerned there may be additional victims and released a photo of Abou-Mechrek for that reason.

Two similar cases were reported at this store in the past.

The man also allegedly used a cellphone to record a woman while she was changing inside a fitting room.

Detectives allegedly linked the suspect in this case to another similar incident involving an adult female at the same Oakville Winners location in November 2024.

In May, police searched a home and seized multiple items believed to have evidentiary value, including cellular phones and a laptop computer.

Dishanth Srideva, 36, of Mississauga, was charged with two counts of voyeurism in May.
