“I just feel like they was just more about keeping me busy,” Martin said of his recent alignment with Top Rank. “That’s important to me. Staying busy, getting fights. I hadn’t been active for a while. Even before I fought ‘Tank’ [Davis], I was off for a year. And then when I fought, after the fight with ‘Tank’, I was off for 18 months. That’s three years of my career just inactive.
