One man is dead following a single-vehicle collision on Tsuut’ina Trail S.W. Friday night.
Calgary Police Service says officers responded to a report of a collision around 8 p.m. on Aug. 14 on the ring road, approaching 90 Avenue S.W.
It is believed that a 2005 Pontiac Grand Am was being driven south when it left the road and hit the concrete base of a sign pole.
The driver was extracted from the vehicle and was taken to hospital, where he later died.
At this time, police do not believe that speed or impairment are factors in the collision.
