AAA is live from Torreon tonight, and Dominik Mysterio & El Grande Americano will both be in the building. We’ll probably see some sort of interaction between them. We’ve also got two big matches announced. Rey Fenix will defend his AAA Cruiserweight Championship, and we’ll see the next match in the tournament determining who will challenge Roman Reigns for his World Heavyweight Championship in Mexico City. All that, and probably some other stuff too!

We open with Dominik Mysterio’s words from last week. He has nothing to do with Perros del Mal, and Dom & Dorian Roldan connected due to bad experiences with their fathers.

We’re in Torreon! El Grande Americano had a rally last night! Penta & Rey Fenix are WALKING! La Parka is WALKING! Psycho Clown is WALKING! Dominik Mysterio is WALKING! Hold on, El Grande Americano attacks! Rey Mysterio runs off to try and control this, he’s hosting the show with Corey Graves & JBL!

Grande & Dom make their way to the ring! Grande dives onto Dom on the outside and hits him with his shoe! Who uses a shoe? Honestly! Rey gets in the ring and tries to keep Grande from attacking, but he wanders into a low blow. Rey tries to pull Dom off, words are exchanged, Dom makes his way to the aisle while Grande holds his lower mid-section. Andrea is here to translate. Grande’s problem with Dom isn’t personal anymore, it’s so much bigger. Does Dom think he’ll be compared to Santo, Mascaras, Blue Demon? Or his own father? This will never happen because all of those men gave everything to wrestling, Dom spent his whole career taking away from wrestling. A true king never hides or runs from a fight. He will fight for his people & country, that’s the difference between Dom & Grande. Grande is the only true El Grande Americano. At TripleMania, the championship will return home for Rey, Pimpi and all the true luchadores.

AAA Cruiserweight Championship Match: Rey Fenix (c) vs. Noisy Boy: Some evasion early, Fenix hits a dropkick to send Noisy outside, Noisy catches Fenix on the dive attempt, then hits a dive of his own! Noisy dives into a superkick from Fenix that gets two. Noisy ranas Fenix, goes for a suplex, Fenix blocks, kicks Noisy, High Fly Flo by Fenix, goes up top, hits a frog splash for two. Noisy fights back, leaps into a cutter for two. Fenix hits a driver for two. High knee in the corner, Fenix goes for his finish, Noisy fights out, springboards up top and hits a poison rana for two. Noisy springboards off of Fenix, hits a standing moonsault for two! Noisy misses a moonsault, Fenix hits a meteora, then hits that Mexican Musclebuster for three.

Winner: Rey Fenix (5:50 via pinfall)
Match Rating: **1/4
Noisy got to look really good here. Fenix is doing his best to make challengers for this championship.

Penta comes out to celebrate with his brother Fenix, then makes his way to the ring while Fenix exits. Penta is out here to speak about Roman Reigns. Roman has never faced a wrestler like Penta that has fought for his life to gain everything he’s gained. He’s never hid behind a family, he’s fought for all of his people. When he wins this tournament he’ll show Roman who Penta is.

Karmen Petrovic makes her entrance, and we all know what that means. Perros del Mal surround Penta. Penta used to be part of that group, as the announcers remind us, and he hugs some of them! Daga reminds us it’s been awhile since they’ve shared the same ring and talks about how they ruled together. He reminds Penta that he’ll need a family against Roman Reigns. Roman represents a barrier, and Penta will need Los Perros. Roman respects power, and power is in numbers. Penta is invited to return home and to his family. I think Penta should join them, quite frankly. Penta wants to think about it. Daga says that Penta has until the end of the night.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Match: Psycho Clown vs. La Parka: Some great legacies involved here. Some back & forth early. La Parka dances around as he should. Snap powerslam by Clown gets two. Backbeaker by Parka, Parka gets smacked by an elbow, but suplexes Psycho into the corner, then dives onto him on the outside! Psycho hits a Code Red for two! Parka gets dumped outside, Psycho teases a dive, Parka evades momentarily before Psycho eventually finds him! Parka jumps up top to join Psycho and hits a Spanish Fly for two! Parka hits one moonsault, the second finds knees, Psycho hits the Destroyer for two. Parka with some kicks, Psycho sent into the corner, Parka hits a cutter. The referee is trying to repair the turnbuckle pad and Parka is sent into him. Psycho hits his driver, the ref is down, he tears his mask off, the lights go out. That insane man is back and attacking Psycho! He clotheslines Psycho over the top rope! He sends Psycho into the ringpost, kicks him and rolls him into the ring. La Parka doesn’t seem concerned and hits the BoneBreaker for three!

Winner: La Parka (9:05 via pinfall)
Match Rating: **1/2
This was a tough matchup to book but I thought they did the best they could here to protect both Psycho & Parka in an early round match. I am impressed with this incarnation of Parka.

Penta will face La Parka in the semi-finals, which should be a tremendous match.

Perros del Mal enter Penta’s locker room and ask if he’s ready to make a decision. Penta respects Daga & Los Garzas, he needs to know if everyone wearing the shirt has earned it. He wants to know that the family has no dead weight. Bronco Nima immediately recognizes when he’s being talked to, and he challenges Penta to a match next week. Penta accepts, so we’ll see that match next week. Our live event has come to an end, so long for now!
