LETTER: E-scooters are a menace in Surrey park

We live near Cloverdale Athletic Park, where we used to enjoy going for walks. No longer, with the amount of e-scooters that use the walkways at top speed.
With the soccer, softball and water park, I am amazed that no on has gotten seriously injured. We have almost been hit several times. We yell at the culprit to slow down. It does not help; there are another two or three scooters behind that one.
I have yet to see a bylaw officer patrol the park. It is a free-for-all and the e-scooter riders know it. Maybe Surrey needs to hire more bylaw officers to make these parks safe again.
