The WNBA’s Sunday, Aug. 16, slate features three games, with two tipping off at the same time. The Chicago Sky visit the Seattle Storm, while Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever face Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream at 5 p.m. ET. Wrapping up the schedule is a matchup between the Portland Fire and Phoenix Mercury at 7 p.m. ET.
The Fever-Dream matchup is Sunday’s marquee matchup. Indiana enters 22-12, while Atlanta is 21-12, leaving just half a game between the teams in the WNBA standings. An Atlanta victory would pull the Dream ahead of Indiana for the fourth seed and earn them the tiebreaker.

Clark and Reese add another chapter to one of the most recognizable player matchups in the WNBA. The Fever guard has won five of their eight WNBA head-to-head meetings, dating back to their 2024 rookie seasons. Sunday’s game gives Reese another opportunity to change that trend.
Clark is averaging 21.9 points and 8.3 assists, the latter leading the WNBA. Reese is averaging 15.6 points and a league-leading 12 rebounds, while leading the league in double-doubles with 22.
The Fever arrive red hot after beating Dallas 98-87 on Friday for their third straight victory. Atlanta, meanwhile, has won six of its last eight after a five-game losing streak.
Sunday will also mark their fourth and final meeting of the year between Atlanta and Indiana, with the Dream holding a 2-1 advantage in the regular-season series.
