Lanes on Highway 401 in Mississauga were closed on Monday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
Emergency crews responded to the crash in the eastbound express lanes of the highway near Winston Churchill Boulevard, the Ontario Provincial Police said on X at 4:22 p.m.
A 53-year-old motorcycle rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police said.
There was no further information on the rider or any other injuries in the crash.
Police said the investigation was ongoing.
The express lanes were closed from Winston Churchill Boulevard.
There is no word on when the lanes will reopen.
