Two found with stab wounds in St-Michel apartment

A man and a woman were found injured by a sharp object in an apartment in Montreal’s St-Michel neighbourhood Monday afternoon, police say.

Montreal police received a 911 call around 2:30 p.m. reporting an injured person in an apartment on 39th Ave., near Paul-Corbeil St.

When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman with injuries caused by a sharp object, according to police.

Their identities and medical conditions were not immediately known.

Police established a perimeter around the apartment while investigators and forensic technicians examined the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remained unclear Monday afternoon, and the investigation was ongoing.
