Austria’s Pro-Ject Audio Systems has expanded its line up of vinyl turntables with the launch of the E1.2 BT. This new Bluetooth turntable brings plug-and-play simplicity to playing classic vinyl recordings.
At the heart of the E1.2 BT is a new-generation Qualcomm Bluetooth transmitter module that runs on Bluetooth 5.4 and supports the apt-X HD and apt-X Adaptive audio codecs. The turntable is designed to be compatible and reliable when used with a broad range wireless connectivity with a wide range of Bluetooth devices
The new Bluetooth module used in the turntable provides greater flexibility when choosing which speakers to partner it with. The E1.2 BT also has a dedicated pairing button that makes connecting new wireless devices easy to use by initiating direct pairing instead of having to power-cycle the turntable and its Bluetooth module to reconnect.

The Pro-Ject E1.2 BT can wirelessly transmit vinyl playback to compatible Bluetooth speakers, headphones and amplifiers, making it easy to enjoy analog playback with modern wireless listening systems. The turntable can also be paired with Pro-Ject’s own range of wireless speakers, such as the Uni Box S3 or Wireless Box E.
Freedom From Wires
The E1.2 BT has all the key design and performance features of Pro-Ject’s Award-winning E1.2 turntable, which was introduced in the summer of 2025. The E1.2 BT has its tracking force and anti-skating set at the factory, making it easy to set up. The 730g die-cast aluminum platter provides a stable platform for playing vinyl records and a pre-adjusted Pro-Ject Pick it MM E cartridge is attached to the precision tonearm and an engineered sub-platter and bearing round off the whole package.
A special E1.2 Colour version comes in a selection of vibrant hand-painted finishes on a specially designed MDF chassis and is designed to complement modern interiors as well as Pro-Ject’s Speaker Box range. The E1.2 Colour is mounted on a specially CNC-machined MDF chassis for extra rigidity and resistance to resonances.
The turntable is factory adjusted for tracking force and anti-skating, while its 730g die-cast aluminum platter provides a stable platform for vinyl playback.

Alongside the three standard finishes of High Gloss Black, Satin White and Walnut vinyl wraps, there’s the option of hand painted finishes in a choice of Satin Black, Satin White, Satin Fir Green, Satin Golden Yellow and Satin Steel Blue.
At the same time as launching the E1.2 BT, Pro-Ject has added the E1.2 Phono to the E1.2 range for U.K. buyers. Based on the original E1.2 and available in the standard finishes, it adds a switchable high-quality phono preamplifier so the turntable can be connected directly to any line or CD input.
Like the E1.2, the E1.2 BT and new E1.2 Phono turntables are handmade in Europe and offer straightforward operation. The models are made with engineered components and designed for long-term serviceability, including a 25-year spare-parts availability guarantee.
