LONG POND, Pa. — Pocono Raceway’s NASCAR weekend will return to its full three-series format in 2027 as the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series rejoins the schedule after a one-year absence.
The June 11-13 weekend will once again feature three national series races in three days, highlighted by Sunday’s Great American Getaway 400 presented by VISIT PA NASCAR Cup Series race.
The return of the Truck Series restores a popular format for fans attending the “Tricky Triangle,” with the MillerTech Battery 200 kicking off the weekend on Friday, followed by the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series on Saturday and the Cup Series finale on Sunday.
The 2027 Cup race will carry additional significance as it marks the 54th consecutive season NASCAR’s premier series has competed at Pocono Raceway, one of the sport’s most unique and recognizable tracks. The 2.5-mile triangular layout, featuring three distinct corners modeled after different speedways, has challenged drivers since its Cup Series debut in 1974.
Pocono continues to be one of NASCAR’s hottest tickets.
The raceway has sold out its NASCAR Cup Series event in each of the past four years, evidence of the strong demand for the track’s lone annual Cup weekend. That popularity was further reflected by fans voting Pocono Raceway as the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice “Best NASCAR Track” for three consecutive years.
The return of the Truck Series also gives fans more value from a weekend ticket package, bringing all three of NASCAR’s national touring divisions back together at the Pennsylvania facility.
Track officials have already placed tickets on sale for the event, with Cup Series seats starting at $65 and the speedway’s long-running “Kids Free” program returning for all three race days.
