The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) in Toronto is kicking off this week with brand-new features to end the summer right.
From Aug. 21 through Sept. 7, the massive fair runs at 100 Princes’ Blvd. It launches experiences and attractions from dance performances to Canada’s largest immersive space exhibit.
Here’s a look at the newest additions at the CNE.
Jump into the CNE with The Big Dip High Dive show right at the Princes’ Gates throughout the fair. Watch as elite performers execute exhilarating dives into a 40,000-gallon pool from platforms at heights up to 80 feet.
The real excitement takes place when the sun sets and the grand finale showcases a diver engulfed in flames going for the ultimate plunge. “This action-packed spectacle promises unforgettable entertainment for audiences of all ages,” organizers said.
Catch the show Monday to Friday, at 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. And Saturday, Sunday and Labour Day Monday (Sept. 7) at 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.

The CNE Space EXperience is Canada’s largest immersive space exhibit. It transports attendees into a galactic adventure and features aerial acrobatic performers underneath a 20-foot illuminated moon, huge projections of lunar phases and interactive activities scattered everywhere.
Discover informational hubs on wearing an astronaut suit, a virtual reality of the International Space Station and spin inside a capsule.
The exhibit runs daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., at Enercare Centre, Hall B, Northside.

Music lovers, check out the new North by Northeast (NXNE) Stage showcasing a lineup of Canadian talent from “today’s hottest emerging acts.” Performers include Ayce Yovarda, Casey Garcia, Papi AQ, GRAE, Holly Clausius, Hush Valley and Jag.Huligin.
Tune in at the Collective Tap Yard on the west side of the Food Building.

Located near the NXNE Stage is the Beat Drop Trampoline Show “where street culture meets circus artistry.”
DJ Maestro’s urban beats mash up will set the soundtrack to an acrobatic performance that spotlights trampwall and dancing. You can swing by the show every day at 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m.

Another show-stopping performance can be found on the CNE Spotlight Stage courtesy of the Japanese Double Dutch team Haribow, the first group in history to receive the Audience Golden Buzzer in “Britain’s Got Talent.”
Merging dance, jump rope, acrobatics and theatrical storytelling, the team “transform Double Dutch into a dynamic performance filled with speed, precision and powerful synchronization,” organizers stated.
Haribow hits the stage on Aug. 21 to 29 from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
CNE Tickets
Advanced general admission tickets are on sale for $25.11 per person until Aug. 20, while regular tickets are $26.55.
If you’re planning to go on opening day, snag a deal with $15 per person tickets available at the gates and online on Aug. 21. This includes admission and access to all shows and exhibits but only on Friday.
