Toronto police are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting a child twice at a downtown park.

They didn’t specify the exact park where the child was at, but said the six-year-old was playing on the trains at the park near Bremner Boulevard and Lower Simcoe Street around 4:15 on Tuesday, August 18.

They say the man walked up and sexually assaulted the child. When the parent confronted the suspect, officers say the man sexually assaulted the child a second time and fled.

The man is described as 55 to 60-years-old, 5’6″ tall with an average build. He has a receding hairline with a bald crown, black and grey hair, is clean shaven and wears prescription glasses with a silver metal frame.

Anyone with information can call police at 416-808-5200 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477 (TIPS).
