On the streets of Montreal, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie is used to getting recognized. This time, though, things might be a little different.
It’s been less than a month since Sterling Point, a teen drama set in scenic Canadian cottage country, hit streaming service Amazon Prime Video, and already it’s generating massive buzz for its attractive cast, picturesque setting (the Muskoka region of Ontario) and meme-able makeouts.
By no means is it Whiteduck-Lavoie’s first hit. At just 23, he already has an impressive résumé of French-language roles, from the TOU.TV hockey series Premier trio to a breakthrough performance in the film Une colonie, which earned him a Canadian Screen Award nomination for best supporting actor.
