Brampton movie lovers are invited to a special community outdoor movie night pizza party just added to the city’s annual Movies Under the Stars line-up.

The event is being put on by the Vales of Humber Neighborhood Association this Sunday evening in Boyce Park, and will feature pizza and popcorn outside for a family-friendly screening of Zootopia 2.

No registration is required and the event is open to all Wards 9 and 10 residents.

“Just bring your blankets or lawn chairs, grab a good spot and enjoy a fun summer movie night right here in Brampton,” Mayor Patrick Brown said in a video statement promoting the event.

Brown says the city’s annual outdoor movie nights “bring neighborhoods together” and give communities a chance to connect.

The event starts at 6 p.m. with the movie starting at 8:30 p.m.

Brampton has two summer-long movie nights, and the city expanded the number of locations across the city where films were screened this year.

Here are all of the remaining outdoor movie nights scheduled this summer in Brampton.

Movies Under the Stars

Aug. 22: Bad Guys 2 in Mount Pleasant Square at 8:30 p.m.
Aug. 23: Zootopia 2 at Boyce Park at 8:30 p.m.
Aug. 28: Hoppers at Chinguacousy Park at 8:30 p.m.
Aug. 29: Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu at the Gore Meadows Community Centre at 8:30 p.m.​

Saturday Movie Nights

Aug. 22: Spirit Untamed at 6 p.m. and Song Sung Blue at 8 p.m.
Aug. 29: Troll Band Together at 6 p.m. and Pitch Perfect at 8 p.m.
Sept. 5: Elio at 6 p.m. and Freakier Friday at 8 p.m.
