Police are asking members of the public to help find a vulnerable man last seen in Brampton who has been missing for days.

Peel Regional Police said on Monday that Francis, 21, was last seen in Brampton near Wanless Drive and McLaughlin Road North on Friday.

Police say that Francis is considered vulnerable, and are asking anyone who may have seen him to contact investigators.

Francis is described as a 21-year-old South Asian male standing approximately 5’11” tall with a medium build. Police say he has short black hair, a beard, and was last seen wearing black track pants, black gloves and a black backpack.

Francis may also be riding a scooter, police say.

Anyone who has seen Francis or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call Peel police by calling 905-453-2121 ext. 2233. Anonymous tips may also be submitted to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by visiting www.peelcrimestoppers.ca.

When you contact Crime Stoppers you stay anonymous, never have to testify, and could receive a $2,000 reward.

In recent years, law enforcement agencies across Ontario have changed policies about disclosing descriptions, last names and genders of missing persons. Peel police have told INsauga.com they are concerned that releasing the last name will make the missing person vulnerable to future online searches.
