This Thursday will mark the first of two TNA Wrestling events coming to Brampton this week, with a previously-announced line-up of superstars including Leon Slater, Moose, Matt Hardy, Rosemary, Mustafa Ali, Indi Hartwell and Nic Nemeth.
TNA has revealed even more action is coming to the CAA Centre of its , including matches between Rich Swann and LJ Cleary, and a fight for Elijah and Bear Bronson.
But the tapping of Thursday Night Impact! will also bring an end to the first Knockout championship, which is TNA’s women’s division.
The months-long elimination series featured 16 competitors but is now down to Maggie Lee (M by Elegance) and Jada Stone. The winner will take the title, which will be defended on Thursday Night Impact!
Fans can buy passes to either the Aug. 27 or 28 shows through Ticketmaster or other online resellers. Seats in the stands start for $37, while ring-side seats can cost up to $180.50 on Ticketmaster.
This week’s upcoming shows will mark the second year in a row TNA has come to Brampton, with last year’s events featuring appearances by locals like Brampton Honey Badger mascot Hammer and Brampton Board of Trade CEO Jaipaul Massey-Singh.
City Councillor Rod Power also got into a tug-of-war with Brian Myers mid-match before Massey-Singh jumped into the fray.
