Brampton commuters are being warned that 200 parking spaces at Brampton Innovation District GO are temporarily off-limits as construction work continues at the station.
A portion of the station’s main parking lot is closed to accommodate concrete repairs and paving work, reducing the number of spaces available to commuters.
The closure is expected to last through September, although the exact timing could change because of unforeseen construction issues.
The work is also affecting the passenger pick-up and drop-off area.
A temporary pick-up and drop-off area will be in place until Sept. 1. It will operate as a one-way loop, with commuters asked to follow posted signs and use caution around construction areas.
GO Transit is advising passengers to use other available parking lots at the station. Those looking for additional parking can also use Bramalea GO, which is approximately a 20-minute drive from Brampton Innovation District GO.
The latest work comes after a series of construction projects and improvements at the Brampton station in recent years as the area around the station continues to develop.
Construction schedules can change, and commuters are encouraged to follow directional signage when arriving at the station.
The work is currently expected to be completed in September 2026.
