Two people have been arrested following raids in Brampton and Caledon that were linked to a gunpoint robbery more than a year ago.
The Nottawasaga OPP says the robbery happened back around 4 p.m. on May 28, 2025, at a home on Anderson Road in the Town of New Tecumseth, approximately 60 kilometres north of Brampton.
Police say suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
An investigation led OPP officers to search multiple homes in Brampton and Caledon on Aug. 19 with the help of the Peel Regional Police Tactical Unit and the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit.
Police say Gurjap Dhadda, 24, of Caledon has been charged with robbery with a weapon, pointing a firearm, disguise with intent, conspiracy to commit indictable offence, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Pavittar Dhillon, 23, of Brampton, has been charged with conspiracy to commit indictable offence.
