A very critical report has been released on Montreal’s handling of waste management. Montreal’s auditor general concludes that the city won’t hit its waste reduction targets unless major changes are made. This was just one of the conclusions in the 404-page document, and as Tim Sargeant reports, while many issues were covered, the auditor general was most critical of the city’s waste management strategy.
