One person suffered life-threatening injuries in an assault in Caledon earlier this week.
Emergency crews responded to the incident outside a business near the intersection of King Street West and Queen Street North in the Bolton area shortly after 8 p.m. on Aug. 24, Ontario Provincial Police said.
The victim was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. No other information about the victim was provided.
OPP said officers identified and arrested a suspect a short time later.
Oleh Milchenko, 32, of Etobicoke, is charged with aggravated assault.
The accused was in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville.
At the time of the incident, numerous witnesses were observed in the area. The OPP are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward.
