Bike the Night

The event starts off with a fun, pre-ride celebration at David Lam Park. You can expect music, food trucks, free bike maintenance, bike decorating, light giveaways, Project 529 registrations and valuable information to help you feel confident cycling at night.

And once the sun begins to set, hundreds of beautifully-lit bikes will hit the Seawall for a brilliant night ride. The route begins at the Seawall, winding from there and across Burrard Bridge before returning back to David Lam Park. The ride plans to be safe and enjoyable for all ages and abilities.

Do note that the ride takes place in two waves following the pre-festival. The first wave is geared more toward families with young children who may ride slower or have earlier bedtimes.

Back at David Lam Park, the festivities will still be going on. Feel free to stick around and hang out with the community after your night bike ride!

Registration

While the event is free to attend and take part in, the event is limited to 1,000 riders. Grab your spot before it’s gone!
