A major highway closure is facing commuters in Toronto just in time for the afternoon rush.
Ontario Provincial Police said just after 2 p.m. that the northbound lanes of Highway 427 are closed after a single-vehicle collision.
A truck that was carrying stones rolled over, police said.
A traffic camera capturing the scene shows stones strewn across all northbound lanes of the highway.
There is a very heavy traffic backup in the area, with vehicles being diverted off the highway.
Police said no injuries have been reported in the incident and Toronto OPP officers are on scene.
Anyone who witnessed the incident was asked to contact the Toronto OPP.
