Calgary Police’s arson unit is investigating a case in which five vehicles caught fire at Cityline Common in northeast Calgary early Friday morning.

Police say they were called around 2 a.m. Friday morning to the fire, adding that there were no injuries.

CityNews reached out to police, asking if they have information about the cause of the fires, if they were random vehicles parked by houses and if the case is being ruled an arson.

The response from police was that, “we are currently looking into those details and are planning to share a media release about it today.”
