A woman is dead after her motorcycle collided with a car north of Calgary.
Airdrie RCMP responded to the crash around 3:50 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Symons Valley Road and Big Hill Springs Road in Rocky View County, about 25 kilometres north of Calgary.
The woman was going north on Symons Valley Road when her motorycle hit a car turning south onto that road from westbound Big Hill Springs Road.
The woman, 51, was declared dead at the scene.
The 39-year-old man driving the car was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was the only person in that vehicle.
RCMP say the crash remains under investigation.
