SkyTrain work requires Langley City road closures

Temporary road closures are needed for SkyTrain construction the intersection of Industrial Avenue and 203 Street.
The closure started Wednesday, Sept. 2 to allow for allow for work such as concrete pours and concrete work on a portion of the elevated guideway at that site.
In addition to the intersection closure, crews will be working on Sunday. The closures will be Sept. 2, 3 and 10.
On Saturday, Sept. 5, no access to 203 Street from Industrial Avenue, though 203 Street will be open.
During all dates, two-way traffic will be in effect on Industrial Avenue between 201A Street and 203 Street. Industrial reverts back to single lane, eastbound traffic after this work is complete.
The following traffic pattern changes will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Construction activity will begin at 6 a.m.
Access to businesses and residences will be maintained. The announcement comes with a noise warning because concrete pump trucks will be in operation, and deliveries will occur through this work.
The Surrey Langley SkyTrain project will extend the Expo Line 16 kilometres, primarily along Fraser Highway from King George Station in Surrey to 203 Street in Langley City. The public can stay updated at the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain website.
