Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) closed the eastbound collector lanes on Highway 401 through Mississauga Friday morning following a transport truck fire.
The blaze was reported just before 2:00 a.m. near Winston Churchill Boulevard.
Around 4:00 a.m., OPP said the eastbound collector lanes were expected to remain closed for several hours for cleanup.
The northbound Winston Churchill ramp to the eastbound 401 was also closed to prevent additional traffic from entering the blocked area.
Police said no one was hurt.
Eastbound collector lanes reopened in the area around 11:30 a.m.
